Custom Profiles and a Better Integration?
Any chance to offer profile customization with photos, contact info, links to another pages (Twitter, Facebook...) and a better integration with other services in real time?
You know... manage the same info in multiples services, share all stuff in a easy way. =D
Well, I hope such things are available soon!

Another suggestion is merge "My Shares" and "My Bookmarks". It's very confused have two diferent counts of links... some links in one page, some in another. =S
Maybe using just ONE page with I suggest above and some icons to identify what it's a bookmark and what was sended by e-mail.
Thanks! =)

Davi,
"Another suggestion is merge "My Shares" and "My Bookmarks". It's very

We used to have My Shares and My Bookmarks in one single page, separated by
icons and filters. We got lots of feedback from our users that they wanted
one central place to handle their bookmarks, and another to handle their
shares. This is why we chose to split it up a few weeks ago.

We are working to enhance the users profile by adding things like vanity
urls and RSS feeds. After these are out in a few weeks, we will take a
further look at your requests and see how they into the product pipeline.
Thanks for your feedback!

I understand, Jason.
And keep the two separate pages, but with all the links centered on "My Bookmarks" with specific icons?
So the page "My Shares" will serve more as a filter, without losing the current format, and giving a better control over the links. =D
Anyway, the service is better every day!
Thanks!

Hi Davi,
Can you provide us more details in terms of what you were thinking about as far as custom profile goes. If there were a particular feature you'd be willing to pay for, what would it look like?

Hi
How do you create the custom (vanity) URL? I see that I have a RSS button and hovering over gives a number/rss and if I click the button I see it as sharein/[user name].
Is that is? I assumed there was a way to claim my custom RSS (as stated in the email) but I'm unclear and I can't find instructions other than to direct me to my public profile. But when I"m there, there's only the RSS button and no instructions or other buttons/prompts to guide me how to create a custom/vanity URL.
Thanks

Hi Anita,
Apologize for the confusion.
You can create your vanity url by logging into Sharein and clicking on the "Account" link at the upper right. Then click on the "url" link on the navigation menu. This will allow you to create your vanity url.
When you finish, you will have this.
profile url: http://sharein.com/[your_vanity_name]
rss url: http://sharein.com/[your_vanity_name]/rss
Hope this helps.
Colin

Hi, folks! Sorry for reply so late! =S
Well... I created an (very, very simple) example of what I am suggesting, with some random icons and info just for better illustrate the idea:
I think if the site had the appearance of a social network, with the possibility of contact list and groups to share links of specific topics (for fans of movies and series, for example), would be great!
Another suggestion is that extension for Firefox could create a small button on services like Google Reader, to share individual items without having to open a second window. The same for videos, photos, animations and flash games.
I would pay for functions like this for sure! =)

I suggest you take a look at Diigo, a service similar to Sharein but with some features of social networks:
It would be interesting to have some of those resources here, but maintaining the simplicity of using Sharein.

Hey Davi,
Sorry for the late reply. Your points are well taken. We are planning to do a major rewrite of the entire application for greater scalability and integration with more services. Will put your thoughts in consideration in our design.
