Why is Internet Explorer 6 unsupported?
We have made a conscious decision to pull our support for Internet Explorer 6. This decison was based on the heavy customization of codes that are required (namely CSS & Javascript) if we were to choose to support IE6.
IE6 was developed in August 2001 and since that time, there have
been very few releases to ensure its conformance to w3c standards.
This has resulted in it becoming increasingly inferior in the
support of many of the web applications that are heavily developed
using CSS & Javascript. Additionally, IE 6 has had some
performance issues and as a result many websites are starting to
drop their support for IE6.
We apologize to any IE6 users who have come across Sharein and had difficulties. We have provided you with a link if you wish to upgrade your web browser.
Sharein currently supports IE7, IE8, Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox2 and Firefox 3.
